On Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May 2012 I did indeed ride my bike the 150 miles from London to Grantham in the initial two stages of the very first Big Green Bike Ride, and in support of Friends of the Earth. Day 1 was London-Cambridge 65 miles and Day 2 Cambridge-Grantham 75 miles. As an extra bonus I matched every £1 donated with another and – with the benefit of gift aid – raised £1000.
