- Regional Transport Board: I represented Y&H Regional Environment Forum on the Yorkshire & the Humber Regional Transport Board (from autumn 2006). This was disbanded in Spring 2009 when the Regional Assembly was abolished. I was appointed as the Environmental Sector representative on the replacement Regional Transport Board in June 2009.

the region. Chair 2004 to date; and initial contact for roads and

Airport Surface Access Forum: I have been a member of the Forum,
representing the Y&H TAR, since its inception.
- Aviation: work for Friends of the Earth before

after publication of the Air Transport White Paper (Dec 2003).

FOE at the public inquiry into the proposed Finningley Airport,
Doncaster
(Sept 2001-March 2002). Member of the Northern Air Services Study
Y&H Reference Group 1999-2000, representing environmental
groups.

- SWYMMS (South & West Yorkshire Multi-Modal Study): member of the Steering Group, representing the Y&H TAR. The study finished at the end of July 2002. See this SWYMMS website.
- A66 Penrith to Scotch Corner Safety Study: member of the Steering Group, representing the Y&H TAR. The study finished in the autumn of 2001.
- Hebden Bridge Traffic Review: previously spokesperson for the HBTR steering group; Chair of Hebden Royd Town Council Transport Issues Working Party, feeding into the review. Concluded in 2008 (having won some prizes).
